Love My Hybrid

Being able to go almost two weeks before filling up my tank is a great benefit of owning this hybrid car. The car is a great comfortable ride and has most of the bells and whistles that I need. The only thing I would recommend is that you have a turn signal alert on when you leave your signal on. Like most Hyundai's, the turn signal does not always turn off when making your turn and the signal is on for a bit, not giving me a beeping noise to alert me.

The one improvement I would like to see included in purchasing this car is a full spare and jack. It would be nice to have more fuel capacity (gasoline).

I love my car. It’s a great car. I have an issue right now which has been going on for several weeks now. I’ll come into the driveway. Park in the garage. Turn the car off go inside and my wife says 15 minutes later your car is running what it doesn’t turn off all the time and that’s becoming an issue stays running even after I push the starter stop button

Room for improvement, seems like a BETA car.

I keep trying to love this car, but I just can't get there. Seems there is always something that throws me off. When it was two months old, in 100 degree heat on a road trip, the air conditioning failed. I sweat home for two driving days, and it took 5 visits to the dealership to actually get it fixed. Smaller issues like undercarriage noise that is a known issues on the forum have also had to be fixed. Constant beeps for driver distraction when I'm not at all distracted. The gas tank is smaller than my Outback's, so I'm filling more often. I bought this vehicle believing it was a great value for the money. I now think it is full of a bunch of features that just weren't quite ready to be released.

2025 Tucson hybrid review

Overall a good vehicle. Quiet ride, great mileage around town, average on the highway. One of the disappointments is with the environmental controls. One must take eyes of the road to alter the airflow, etc requires too much attention time is because the activity light indicators are barely visible. The other problem is with its management of Apple CarPlay. If two Apple phones are in the car at the same time, the Tucson locks onto one and it’s near impossible to get its Bluetooth to switch to the other phone.

i love it but...

looks great, drives nice, lots of nice features except for one annoying thing: you cannot turn off the "Consider Taking a Break" thing that pops up on your instrument panel randomly- and I mean random, sometimes 5 minutes after I start driving, sometimes not the whole 8 hours I just drove; but it is very annoying and worst part is you CANNOT turn it off- I have emailed Hyundai multiple times and talked to my dealer, you, as the owner, driver cannot turn it off, it will take an update from a software engineer and Hyundai doesn't seem to care that it bugs us- not just me, lots of posts on various socials about it; it that won't annoy you like it does me, this is a good car to get- especially the hybrid, gets about 39 mpg; and speaking of feature too much stuff, it's like trying to drive the a space ship, trying to figure out how to do things

Would buy it again

I really like my Tuscon Hybrid. So quiet, smooth ride, great gas mileage. Amazing driver assist if you want to take advantage of them all. This is out third Hyundai purchase, so we really appreciate this vehicle for its reliability , warranty and value.

100% Pleased with our purchase

I was Honda from about '74 until '06, then Mazda so the bar was set high. Our Tucson Hybrid—has been fantastic. I really appreciate how quiet it is, the ride is great, and gas mileage runs ~35 mpg on the highway. Absolutely nothing has gone wrong (knock on wood). If it had a tighter turning radius and there was a way to auto-suppress the parking collision alarm when a bike rack is mounted, it'd be perfect. Those are annoying, but given how well everything else works I can live with them.

Great Ride for a Great Price

The overall aspect of the vehicle is that it is well equipped for the price. I love everything about the Tucson except its safety feature for rear collision. When a vehicle is following too closely, the Tucson deploys the ABS system and the vehicle brakes. The vehicle following too closely then almost hits the car it is following too closely. Fix that rear end safety function and the vehicle is perfect!

Love the vehicle but not the problems

comfortable, easy to drive, but....the recall and warranty work was timely. I waited 1 month for a wiring harness and was promised a loaner as soon as one came in. After 1 month, the harness came in and I got a loaner. Meanwhile, I drove in an unsafe vehicle without a screen. Fortunately, waze has a speedometer. Prior to the recall work, the vehicle is amazing. My friend loves it so much, that she wants to drive when we go anywhere.
