MPG not as advertised

I made my first 1500 miles on my Tucson hybrid SEL 2026 and my average miles is 32 miles per gallon. I don't know how Hyundai stated on their advertisement that can reach average of 38 mpg. My back up camera goes green in several occasions, unable to see nothing when reversing.

Good where others are bad. Bad where others get it right.

What I like: Many safety features can be turned off or customized to driver preference. Comfortable to drive. The space between front seats and armrest is not covered in useless buttons. What I hate: Cup holders are way too small. Driver armrest is too bulky. Dash is too busy. (All the icons light up and it’s hard to tell what is on or off.) Car won’t lock if a door is open. (Forget about tapping the lock button on the door as you exit the driver seat. The car will not auto-lock if the key is far away. Driver must lock the door with key or app every time.)

Memory loss

Auto trunk open is set to open when near with key fob and does not work because the settings changed back to manual. Serus radio stations that were saved are not anymore. Driver seat setting are not staying in memory or change without input to whatever the vehicle decides.

Great car, good gas milage.

I went from a 2006 car that had 18 mpg to this 45 mpg Tucson Hybrid, which is amazing. I wish the mpg was even higher but I didn't want a fully electric car, which is the only way I know of to get higher mpg (miles per electric?). I am still figuring out all the buttons because I am not used to so many, it is almost too many.
