Drives great. Navigation, climate control, voice command not so great

Fun to drive. Lots of safety equipment, Quick speed response. Problems are climate control not wiring well automatically, Navigation confusing, no sunglasses holder!

Nice SUV with a couple of issues

I really like my Hyundai Tucson. Overall, it has been a really good car for me. I’m especially impressed with how well it handles in the snow, which is important to me living in Michigan. I also really like the size. It’s comfortable and easy for me to drive, but still has plenty of room inside for groceries, packages, beach items, and pretty much anything else we want to put in it. There are, however, two things that have bothered me from the very first day I owned it. The first is the way the doors lock. I keep my key fob clipped inside my purse, so when I get out of the car, I can’t simply press a button on the inside door handle to lock it. I have to shut the door, open my purse, find the key, and press the lock button. It sounds like a small thing, but when you do it every single time you get out of your car, it becomes really annoying. I wish Hyundai would add a simple lock button to the inside door handle. My other complaint is the climate-control panel. It is just too dark. It can be difficult to see what is turned on or off and even to see the controls when you want to select something. Even when the air conditioning is on, the blue indicator light can be so faint that I can barely see it. I think the controls need to be much more clearly illuminated. Those two issues aside, I really do like my Tucson. It’s a comfortable size, has plenty of room, handles great in the snow, and has been a very good vehicle for me. I just wish Hyundai would address these two everyday annoyances because they would make a car I already like even better.

Rough handling and cheap tires and wipers

Haven't done my homework to read the small print handbook but the handling is rough on curves and I live in the mountains. My test drive was on straight flat roads, and this is my first and last new car. Three flat tires in the first 6 months, holes, from rocks. Have 3 older cars on property with no tire issues and bought 4 new tires from a retail tire center 6 months ago, no problems. We drive cars to their life ends and my intuition tells me this one won't last too long.

Instrument panel

The lights on the instrument panel for the heat seat, the fan, the AC etc. are not bright enough and are very hard to read.

Like every thing about the car. One issue is a rumbling sound that occurs after 75 mph. Took it to two dealerships and neither could address the issue. Not sure how to proceed.

My Hyundai

I do enjoy my Hyundai but there are few things I did specifically ask for when purchasing a car. I started having a few issues and they were being addressed by the dealership I went to. I asked for a vehicle with heated seats, due to severe back issues, remote start, wireless Apple car play, AWD, and great safety features due to my little one. I got 4 out of the 5. Can’t complain too much. I don’t think the gas mileage is the best either. The cream interior was a bad choicE, EVERYTHING stains.
