very very disappointed overall
I have had issues with a horrible smell coming from the A/C vents. The A/C, Heat smells when first turned on. I have to have the windows down and run the car for 5+ minutes for the smell to lessen. I have been in contact with Hyundai and they don't really seem to be that concerned. When the issue first started Crown Hyundai said the lines in my car and evaporator needed cleaning. Charged me to have the cleaning done, only 13,000 + miles on my car. Lasted 1 week after the cleaning product smell faded. Oh yeah and it took Crown Hyundai 3 months & 5 days to give me an appt. I contacted corporate. They were not concerned and would not reimburse me.
Problem came back, took car to a different dealer. Fitzgerald Hyundai, only took me 1 day to get the appt. Apparently nobody there can smell very good, as admitted to me.
Honestly, everyone that gets into my car can smell it, except for the Hyundai employees that worked with me on my car. I will be taking by car in again for the same issue.
I truly believe there is a design flaw and I wish Hyundai would look seriously into this.
Oh, by the way there are forums online with many people having the same or very similar issues with their vehicle. Maybe as a group we can actually get some resolution.
Let me see if I get any feedback from this review first.
