Love my car but loved my 2012 Tuscon more. Sound system and air conditioning worked better. This one doesn’t cool as quickly.

Mostly Good

Beautiful white car with all the upgrades, drives well, but numerous little complications and disappointments. Have had it for two years. Brake pads were replaced at no charge six months ago and now the rear brakes are squealing again. Driver's seat does not always move into its saved position, in fact it automatically goes so far back upon opening the door that I can't reach the pedals to start the car. Driver's seat "leather" was replaced at no charge for wrinkles, but it is no better and seems to have worn down quickly (I am just 115 lb. and the only driver. Car has just 23,000 miles.) Touch display controls are a royal pain - so hard to hit the right button while driving and if any bumps in the road. I miss the good old dials - at least for Volume and Temperature adjustments. CarPlay is so complicated and display menus are cumbersome. The gas tank is too small at 14 gallons. So many beeps when backing up, parking, etc. I had to turn off some of the alerts. When closing the moonroof, the sun shade insists on closing, too, even though I push the button very lightly. I do feel safe in the car and it runs well.

Reliable Transportation

So far, my Tucson has worked very well. I am semi-retired, and so don't put on a lot of miles (I'm only at about 15K). It is garaged, and still has a new car feel. It handles all my needs, from occasionally carrying up to 5 people, to transporting my lawn mowers back and forth to the repair shop, to trips in the region. I am happy that it is red -- I think the fact that most cars are black, white, silver, or beige is extremely dull and boring.

Gets the job done but seems cheaply made

There are parts on the outside of the car that are peeling already (only had car since Oct. ‘24) and the car never sits outside, it’s always in garage.

Cause they don’t break easy I just had one bad experience when they did the oil change and they didn’t put the cap back on and the all was all in front of my house

Overall, a terrific car.

Excellent car, but…. The seats are comfortable for about 45 minutes, then the hardness gets to you. The info center is ok, but nothing special, and the seatbelts are very hard to couple. Other than those things, I love the car.
