Major Upgrade into my Dream Car

After 16 years of driving a Hyundai Elantra, it was time for an upgrade. After months of researching to find exactly what I wanted in a new vehicle, I settled on the Tuscon, and I've gotta say--I love it. Spacious, reliable, great tech and safety features, stylish, and it handles beautifully.

Great car!

I love my new Hyundai. I do a lot of driving for work and can rely on my car to keep me safe and ride smoothly in all conditions. The blue link app is lacking but does not take away from the car itself.

Overall, we love this SUV. There is one safety feature that has been challenging. The collision warning has led to my brakes locking and close calls with almost having a wrecks.

Thumbs down on the 2025 Tucson

The large screen is distracting. The map on the display has black background and is of no use during daylight hours. Also, there is no means to change the maps background to a lighter color. Most of the written literature identifies a function or option is available, but you have to wade through numerous online searches to find out how to manage the desired function or option. Who wants to sit in their car for hours with the engine running to figure out how to set the display. The run/idle function should be disabled once and repeatedly disabled each time the engine is started. The run/idle function is such a juvenile approach to reduce pollution. There should be a recall to modify this function to an automatic disabled state.

Really enjoying the car

The interior is VERY comfortable, the dash display is OUTSTANDING. The amount of driver programmability is also outstanding. The vehicle rides very nicely. My only complaint is the auto-braking system is very, very sensitive and will almost slam on the brakes when I get too close to a car that is turning into a retail driveway. I may look for a way in the settings to detune this system to be a little less sensitive.

This is just an average car.

I'm disappointed in this car purchase. Too many bells and whistles which we do not understand, there is a terrible blind spot on the driver's side and it is just average. It does not have the pick up and go that I am used to. I don't mean racing or jack-rabbiting from a stoplight, however I do want the confidence to change lanes on a highway and know my car will go with me. Liked my Ford Escape so much better!
