Great Safety Features, but other designs are lacking
There are many features on the Tucson that are wonderful. Safety features are fantastic, and it offers a comfortable ride. The quality that the crystal-clear display screen provides makes GPS, backup camera and other features so easy to see.
There are some features that could use some room for improvement.
There is extremely limited space in the back. Enough for grocery bags, a first aid kit and a blanket. Previous non-Hyundai SUVs had a cover over the tire, a place to store, winter gear, like snow removers, and other items, and then it had the cover.
The sideview mirrors have no rain guard (or mirror rain shield) without which, causes water marks, which in turn causes glare and fogging and low visibility. I have to wipe them clean every time I get in the car.
The design of the windshield wipers is not favorable to me. The only way to pull them up in order to clean them or place a protective sleeve over them to protect from the elements or when washing the car, is to turn the car on and off, finagle the wiper handle to position them up onto the windshield.
