Good comfy ride but the wireless charger is awful

Driving the car feels pretty good and the multimedia system is nice enough. The wireless key function is great and the integration with your smartphone is nice but the wireless charger doesn’t work well. In a half hour drive home, my phone charges 10%. While acceptable, I would feel much better about it if it were quicker.

2025 Tucson Good and Bad

Overall a decent, safe, quiet vehicle. Exterior body design not important to me. Interior comfort is good. Screen is distraction while driving. A good feature would be screen inoperable when vehicle in motion. Poor visibility navigation screen due to small size of print and lack of street information. Liftgate remote feature inconsistent and object sensitivity not sufficient to prevent injury when tailgate closing.

TUCSON 2025

Overall ride is more than expected. I previously leased a Santa Fe and was very pleased with it, but didn't care for the current year body style. Hence, the leasing of the Tucson. Dropping down a class, I didn't expect the overall ride capabilities. The Tucson is a normal 4 cyl, whereas the Sante Fe was a turbo 4. Though there is a drop off in acceleration, it is minimal.

25 Hyundai Tucson is Clunky

The interior of the car looks amazing. The ride feels smooth enough. My biggest issue is the clunky transmission. It jerks in lower gears and has me wondering if this car will even make it to 100,000 miles. Hopefully, the warranty will be enough to protect this investment. Dealer fees are substantial these days so I hope I can get a couple good years before I trade it for something better with a smoother transmission. Unless this issue is corrected, I'll be going back to Honda or Toyota.

Overall I give it a 10. Only problem is trying to figure out how to run the media. I still haven’t done it to my satisfaction. A manual didn’t come with the car. A lot of people, especially seniors, don’t have the access to download and print. No way to mount a front plate
