Comfortable and quiet
The 2025 Hyundai Tucson is comfortable and quiet. The keyless entry and engine start takes a few reps to get used to if your previous car did not have this feature.
The 2.4 gas engine has adequate acceleration and performs well on mountain grades although the engine noise lets you know you're climbing.
The digital display also takes some getting used to and operation of the controls distracts the driver. The touch screen climate controls are not well enough lit to be able to see during daylight hours. The Auto Stop/Start feature's default is ON, which is backwards in my opinion. In-town mileage has been about 28mpg.
