25 Hyundai Tucson is Clunky

The interior of the car looks amazing. The ride feels smooth enough. My biggest issue is the clunky transmission. It jerks in lower gears and has me wondering if this car will even make it to 100,000 miles. Hopefully, the warranty will be enough to protect this investment. Dealer fees are substantial these days so I hope I can get a couple good years before I trade it for something better with a smoother transmission. Unless this issue is corrected, I'll be going back to Honda or Toyota.

2025 Tucson Review

Overall I give it a 10. Only problem is trying to figure out how to run the media. I still haven’t done it to my satisfaction. A manual didn’t come with the car. A lot of people, especially seniors, don’t have the access to download and print. No way to mount a front plate

Somewhat happen with the vehicle

We are somewhat disappointed with our 2025 Tucson. We are finding it very difficult to figure out all the technology in the car. After spending hours trying to figure out where to find different features. I have owned at least 10 cars in the last five years and most are fairly easy to figure out. This car is extremely more difficult. I would not recommend this car for anyone aged 50 and above who are not computer or tech savvy. Because the car is heavy the 4 cylinder does not have the sufficient power to accelerate safely when getting onto a highway in many cases. The best part of the car is the front, side, & backup mirrors system.

2025 Tucson review

Generally very satisfied with the vehicle. Good gas mileage. Good performance. Like the safety features. Things I wish it had: a compartment up above the rear view mirror for sunglasses; A/C outlets in the back of the center console; the smaller part of the split fold-down rear seat on the passenger side instead of the driver side. There is an annoying rattle inside the dashboard somewhere, started at about 5000 miles, can be heard on rougher roads.

New to SUV driving

Tucson is easy to drive and allows for an incredible view of the road. Rear view camera is very helpful and easy. Changing from a traditional dashboard to computer screen requires some practice. Generally enjoy the car, but did require a period of adjustment to the use of the computer functions. Very comfortable drive.

I love this vehicle

The only\nThing about this vehicle, sometimes it does not want to get-up-and-go.It hesitates and sometimes it does very well but man , when I go on trips, it is great on fuel.

Overall really pleased with choice to purchase. The driver seat is a bit uncomfortable but i can purchase padding. Seats seem to wear quickly. I am a larger size lady. Driver seat a little tight for my size.

Bad door locks

I absolutely hate the way I can't open and close my door. I'm supposed to touch the handle to lock or unlock the door and it never worked. It's very frustrating and then I have to look for my keys because I can't get in my car. Also my car hesitates all the time when I start up from a light
