Terrible Hyundai company response to a serious problem

There is a terrible problem with the driver alert system which Hyundai has chosen to ignore. I have completed the lengthy survey that was sent detailing the problem. The alarm goes after you drive for 20 minutes on the open road and continues until you stop. Hyundai after being told of this problem has completely ignored my complaints. I also own a Santa Fe which does not have this problem and that makes me use this model my primary car to long trips. The problem limits me to only use the Tucson for local driving. Terrible company response. I doubt I will buy another Hyundai when the time comes.

Driver attention warning system makes car undriveable

Ride rides and handles very well. Engine is great. It is missing walk away locks and memory settings should be tied to key fob. On the negative side the DAW system goes off every five or six minutes. This is more than annoying on long trips. It is undriveable! Dealer says this is working to spec. No software fix and cannot be turned off. Can’t wait for lease end.

It’s a nice car

I got this car because of how it looks. A year later the black plastic on top of the chrome accents is chipping off. All I wanted was black trim. So that’s annoying. The seats are so hot they make everyone sweat. So I had to get covers. What’s the point. The wireless charger only works half the time. It’s still nice but I’ll trade it in as soon as possible. Probably for a Kia. I don’t like the new body style for 2027.

My Favorite Vehicle By Far

This is my 3rd or 4th Tucson.....and I love them. Perfect size for one and perfect size for 4-5. Lots of trunk space. Mine has a tow hitch which is an added bonus. I have had the basic stripped down version on up to the top of the line with all the bells and whistles. Loved them all and will keep buying them!
