Enjoy my new tucson

I'm really enjoying learning all the features of my new Tucson! It's so user-friendly, comfortable, and has just about everything you could think of. I'm loving my liftgate, the entertainment center, and all the little extras that make driving so enjoyable. I especially love how quiet and smooth the ride is. It's almost surreal, especially when you're relaxing and enjoying the ride. I'm getting all these wonderful features at an affordable price, too! I must say, I'm one happy Tucson owner! ❤️🚙

Senior Citizen

Getting in and out of the front seats is a little difficult especially on passenger side. The lower door frame has a lip that causes the problem. A handle or something to hold onto for support would be extremely helpful. The lower passenger side floor sits a short person looking at the dashboard and not much of the windshield. A 2 inch cushion is needed for correct height. The control panel selection icons are hard to see and tap during daylight hours. Otherwise the vehicle is very good.

2026 Hyundai Tucson Issues

I have had nothing but trouble, intermittent knocking, jerking, lurching issues. I’ve had my car go into limp mode twice and leave me on the side of the road, fuel injection issues. They now have my car again for what I think is the 7th time and are doing diagnostics for the transmission. This is a 2026 vehicle with about 24k miles. I love to roadtrip and can’t with this vehicle because I don’t trust it for its safety! Definitely not worth the $800 monthly payments!

Not as good as my prior Tucson

Too many options have to be turned off, I don’t like a camera watching everything I do, not gas efficient at all horrible on gas, passenger seat should be electric no heat on the Sideview mirrors.

Tucson - Nice With A Few Shortcomings

Great vehicle. Many pluses: comfort, solid, great drive. A few negatives: (1) Instrument panel has many displays that are not bright enough to know when they’re on or not. Even worse when the sun hits them. (2) A recent software update negatively affected the radio functionality including the pre-sets. Very annoying, and thus far Hyundai has not addressed this problem even though many people have complained about it on social media. (3) Set-up of dashboard controls is very complicated and cumbersome. The owners manual does not provide any information that would help this. Requires you to go on the internet for assistance.

Wish the alarm turned on autmoatically after 30 secs. Do not like that the steering wheel keeps you in lane. Brakes stops automatically.

Tucson Drives Smooth But the Technology is Overwhelming

This is the second Hyundai vehicle we've purchased. The first, a 2013 Sonata, was the best vehicle we have ever owned, so we decided to stick with Hyundai but wanted a larger vehicle. The Tucson fit what we were looking for. The car drives well, but the technology is overwhelming. Figuring out how the dashboard lights, information screen, and media controls is an ongoing and daunting task. The "Take a Break" warning comes on for no seeming reason; I'm not weaving or driving too fast or slow, but all of a sudden the suggestion to take a break comes on, sometimes within one minute of starting to drive. The cruise control settings are probably the least favorite feature, especially the five-miles-per-hour increments.
