Only thing I don’t like is the interior cloth on seats. Much preferred my 2013 Tucson with part leather and material.

Disappointing

My computer on tires is not what I expected. Random noises jerking brakes..Impossible to operating interior lighting. Buttons with secret symbols whose purpose cannot be determined. I would appreciate a cd player

The Software Safety Update bricked the entire infotainment and instrument cluster displays. It has been over 3 months until a part was received. To date it is not certain that the problem is corrected.

Easy To Drive

I got my 2026 Tucson in August. It's been a pleasure to drive. It accelerates quickly and I am able to shut off the auto stop feature when you are waiting at a traffic light. It has good gas mileage. My passengers are very comfortable in the roomy cabin. It has good trunk space.

Very nice riding car with a poorly designed dashboard causing distract

The car itself drives well but the dashboard is poorly designed and in many cases a major distraction while driving. The radio and heat positions are reset after turning the car off. So every morning you have to reset the radio and heat. You might be lucky and not have the radio station change to another while driving. I am a volunteer fireman. I was on the way to a motor vehicle accident on a dark rural road when suddenly the interior courtesy lights went on. I could shut them off. Ever try to drive with the interior fully lit when it was pitch black outside? My crossover has 20” tires on a family car. I have been leasing for 30 years. Fortunatrly, in all those years I have had no vehicle problems, This car is making up for all the good years. My wife and I can’t wait to dump this very bad decision.

Four Month Review

I have only had the vehicle for 4 months so anything can happen in the future to change my mind but so far so good. I just completed a 1,900 mile trip and everything worked fine. As with any vehicle these days I think it has to many gadgets and sensors. I like to drive my car not have my car drive me. I bought the base non-hybrid model but it still has the lane assist and automatic braking - don't like any of that stuff. I have driven over a million miles in my life and never needed my car to assist me with anything.
