Features random working

The pickup on the 2026 Tuscon is better than my last one. However, the locks on my old Tuscan only worked randomly when touching the handle. Many times I had to use the key fob (digging through my purse with a load of bags in my hands) to open my door. Now with this Tuscon the alert for people or cars passing when I’m in reverse only works on occasion. You begin to trust features like this, and then it becomes dangerous when someone quickly walks behind your car or pulls out their car at the same time in a parking lot. All features should work all the time. I can see as being a possible lawsuit if a child in a tricycle crosses a driveway, God forbid!

Lane Assist and Cruse

I like the car overall, but the Lane Assist is like driving with a drunk. It drifts to the Right and corrects it's self, then drifts to the Left, corrects it's self, over and over. When you are along side a Tractor Trailer and it drifts toward the truck it is time to shut it off and stop fighting it. For the most part I do not use Lane Assist. I think it is dangerous. The Thumb Switch on the Steering Wheel for Cruse Control needs to be a little bigger and turning off the Cruse needs to be somewhere else.

Terrible forward collision feature

This is my first Hyundai I purchased back in January. Not only do I dislike the forward collision feature I feel it’s very dangerous and it’s gonna get someone in an accident and possibly kill someone. And it’s terrible that you can’t permanently turn that feature off, you have to go in manually and turn it off every time you start the car to drive.

Great Catch

First time purchasing an SUV. I find that driving my Tucson is that I feel safe with all of the safety features that are in place. It is very comfortable. It handles very nice and smooth . I like all the new technology that now is standard. It is a nice looking vehicle.
