They're ok

They were made a lot better 15 years ago. There's a VERY ANNOYING "would you like to take a break?" That no one, including Hyundai, will tell you how to turn off. The break and gas pedals are too close together so you often push them at the same time when breaking. TOO MANY electronics for people over 50. You could sell a lot of cars to older people if you took out the extra screens and reduced the price. It would also be nice to open the trunk while the engine is running.

I like my car a lot, however, there are some things that do not make me happy. The phone charger gets very very hot so I can't charge my phone when needed. I told this to you several times including the dealership, but, was told by dealership it was a glitch. You have never gotten back with me even though a so-called claim was submitted. The other thing is, I appreciate that the car gets washed at no charge, but it is not cleaned inside and it is a very bad car wash. Car goes into a small opening, gets sprayed and washed and comes out. I think you could have done better a better car wash, why it wasn't considered when you were building your building is beyond me.

New car

I love most everything about our new vehicle. I don’t like the pick up though. It chugs and changes gears a bit rough. It also doesn’t feel very sturdy when driving it. When I hit a bump it does not hold very well.

Overall, I'm pleased with the 2026 Hyundai but the rating is a 3 since these two concerns are safety concerns which are distractions. There are concerns which are the following: The alert about taking a break is AWFUL and the cruise control. The "take a break warning" comes up randomly, "to help, as a safety measure". Customer Service says if you wear sunglasses, contact, or glasses, or do not drive with your hands at 10 and 2 on the steering wheel, it may come up more frequently, and randomly and it is distracting, shows an warning causing you to look at the warning light to find out what is wrong with the car. More could be said about this "safety feature". The cruise control is difficult to use. It could be a lot simpler. I had a previous car that had a very easy cruise control to use that gave the same services. Hyundai's cruise control has me taking my eyes off the road to see what is set as I drive, being dangerous especially in traffic.

Not so impressed anymore. Prices are way too high for this vehicle and it’s not even the high end version. Now to top it off they take away the maintenance on a leased vehicle!
