Nice color and styling

This is my first SUV. I'm still getting use to a smaller passenger compartment. Would like more legroom and for the seat to go a bit higher. Getting use to mostly onscreen controls. But I like the heated and cooled seats and the heated rear seats - so do my friends. There is adequate room for carrying things with seats up and very nice space with seats down. Nice engine/exhaust sound, really good pickup when needed, though I don't like to waist the gas. For a SUV, I get pretty good gas mileage. Average 21.6 MPG. That's suburban, country or Thruway driving.

Beauty

Color (burgundy velvet metallic and styling) caught my eye. This is my almost, first SUV. I have always driven big, fully loaded cars. I like identities. The MKX has many from the heated steering wheel to the really big moon roof. The seats are comfortable (safe without feeling restricted) nice lighting, power tilt and extension steering wheel, heated and cooled front seats and cooled rear. SAFE. I mentioned that this was almost my first SUV. My real first was in a bad accident when I had less than 800 miles on it. I was hit on the right had front corner and spun 80 degrees and not hurt. Repairs were extensive but I walked away thankful for a sturdy car and a seat that held me in place. Only problem that I see is that the heating sysqtemdoes not heat your feet and the cup holders are in the wrong place to hold 2 cups and have the driver be able to drive comfortably.
