Lincoln towncar -- better and worse
Had Ford been willing to employ better grade metals in my vehicle's braking system, I would be much happier. There is NO major braking system component I have not had to replace in the last 2 years. And, in one case, the part which fits my car is only available from Ford -- for about $1100. Yet, a part from a junkyard slightly differently designed, I could obtain for $50.
Paint job has deteriorated markedly in last two years. Expected better from a so-called "luxury vehicle."
And, finally, as an idiot check, ALL doors automatically lock when the vehicle moves. I would like to have an override on this in order to exclude doors next to seats where no one is sitting but which I will need to access when stopped.
