A fine car, a bad dealer service department.

GV70 has been an enjoyable car to own. A couple problems, but those have been fixed. 2.5 provides plenty of power. The service department where I live has not been a strong point. A lack of Genesis dealerships continues to be a problem.

Have had repair issues but biggest problem is the dealership stinks

Car has had drive train issues and the dealership is not providing competent service they wait for advisory from Hyundai since it appears they are very poor at actually service just replace parts when told but not by customers they are full of excuses

Terrific Car

I have put 36,000 miles in 2 1/2 years of ownership and the only problem I experienced was a defective battery. With no dealers in Alabama without 100 miles getting the replacement battery was a real ordeal. I hope they will get a dealership in Birmingham soon. The car has been basically trouble free but getting it serviced is not an easy task.

Looks great, fun to drive, controls are well thought out

Beautiful exterior design. Very comfortable interior, especially in front, as rear space is a bit tight for a six footer. Controls are thoroughly thought out. Performance from the base engine is as good as I could want. Handling is tight and braking is solid. The cargo area holds all of my golf equipment, beach chairs and cooler, or plenty of suitcases. The only major drawback is mediocre fuel mileage. The auto start/stop feature does not work very well, so many owners disable it. Wireless charging causes a phone to overheat so I disabled it.
