Luxury vehicle for a small price

The Genesis GV70 has been a reliable, enjoyable vehicle to drive with ample legroom for all passengers as well as comfortable setting and amenities. Drives well in town and on the highway. The multiple cameras and other safety features provides for a feeling of safety and security.

Ok for younger drivers

Great car. As a senior citizen (69) the seats are not as comfortable as we would like. I guess we don’t have as much padding as we used to. There is more technology than we can figure out how to use. Gas mileage is only about 18 mpg.

Good but NOT Great

Owned for 12+ months....the HP is weak compared to equivalent high end vehicles and the headlights have significant condensation that MUST be replaced and is an inconvenience. The Bloomington MN Genesis service refused to admit they scratch up the new rims on the GV70 and told me it was my fault. The safety features are great but no Heads Up is surely ridiculous not to have as standard for the price. Will not purchase another Genesis

Love the Vehicle hate the whistle from the moon roof

Everything about the car screams fun and excitement. From the room to the comfort of the seats to the entertainment package and the sound from the radio car has been a complete joy, and it turns heads.

I like everything about my car which is very important because I’m handicapped. Easy entry and exit. Fantastic styling. It has every option imaginable. The dealer provides excellent service. I’ll buy another one. My last cars for years were BMWS.

Mostly satisfied

Overall, I'm happy with the 2024 GV70. Rides and handles nicely, and the seats are comfortable. The addition of wireless Bluetooth was a significant improvement. Two areas of concern: (1) My 2023 GV70 had a very noticeable humming sound coming from the rear axle area and even after several attempts by the dealership to fix it and over 20 days in the shop, it was never fixed, and now my 2024 GV70 also has a humming sound in the same area, but not as noticeable as it was on the 2023 model; and (2) I definitely do not like the two circular control knobs on the center console--suggest changing the gear knob to a lever control. Even though I am generally satisfied with the GV70 and may purchase another GV70, due to these concerns I will most likely consider other brands.

Prefer it over the Macan S

I had the Audi SQ5 and then the Porsche Macan S. I bought the GV70 because I was frustrated w/the Porsche expenses and having to deal with the Porsche "quirks". I loved the look of the GV70 and so, out of frustration w/the Macan, I test drove the GV70 3.5. I was sold in 30 seconds. It's a smoother, more luxury drive. The infotainment system is FAR superior, and it gives me the performance I want in Sport mode. My family prefers the GV70 as well, saying it is more comfortable. I've been very happy, as maintenance costs are about 30% of what they were w/the Macan. I do look forward to the newer model, understanding the chassis has be upgraded and the car will be more athletic. That is, in my opinion, the only downside of the current model. It doesn't perform as well as the Macan S on turns. The GV70 exceeds the Audi SQ5 in every category!

Pretty car but…

Love the styling and responsiveness of the GV70. Racked with nuisance issues that service can’t or won’t resolve. I want to LOVE the car completely but I am not able to. For the price I paid, issues should be resolved and prioritized but they are not.
