The same comments I just stated also go here. The GV70 is a pretty solid vehicle for the money. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a quality vehicle

Worst service I have ever experienced

When I first bought the car it was decent. I was really loving about everything about it. I would change the seat because they are not comfortable. I had little minor issues like the screen flickering. Called the service department and was told it would be a month before I could be seen! That was without asking for the concierge service. If I wanted the concierge service it was a 2 month wait! That is unacceptable sine this was one reason I bought the car. Got that issue fixed and than it needed its check up. Again had to wait 3 weeks. I has another small issue and wanted to just ask a question. I was put on hold for 30 min only to have someone pick up and hang up on me. That was the last straw! I Traded in my Genesis for a BMW and haven't looked back. The GV70 was decent for the price but clearly Genesis can't keep up with the service. I took a 30K loss just so I could get out of having to deal with the dealership.

8 nightmare to get maintenance on this vehicle.

Finding maintenance now that Genesis separated a sofa, Hyundai became a real problem. Well, the other Genesis are overwhelmed with all the clientele that they receive from Hyundai. Before he came, a nightmare would not buy this vehicle. Just on the fact that the maintenance has become very difficult They want to produce a car, but then they don't have the manpower to maintain the vehicles in pristine condition.

Genesis is the new Acura

I had driven an Acura for the last 20+ years as it offered the best value and quality. Genesis has now taken that mantle. The GV70 is solidly built, offers a generous warranty, and looks great. Wish at least some options were available outside of specific packages as some of the first or second tier option packages are lacking (sound system is very lackluster).

Seized Engine

The engine seized and needed to be replaced at 7000 miles. It took more than 6 months to replace. In that time I filed a lemon lawsuit to force Hyundai to buy it back, which they did.

Concept is great, execution needs some work

In so may ways this car is great. The only real downsides are - 1 electronic gadgets are convoluted, intrusive, excessive and redundant. it just doesn't need to be this complicated. 2- Our selling dealer has been beyond awful.

Some good,Some not so good

Overall, a very good car. Some areas need improvement. AM radio has terrible sound quality when compared to other cars. FM And Sattelite are fine. Door locks need to be programmable by the owner so you don't have to open a front door to put something in the back. Wheel lug nuts are painted and are damaged by the impact wrench causing them to rust. Genesis refuses to replace them. Terrible to have rusty wheel lugs on a luxury automobile. There needs to be better QC at the factory. My car was delivered with a misaligned hood. It took a month to fix it. Rear axle needed to be replaced.
