Great car

We have owned for almost 2 years. Reliable but we had one small warranty issue with water in the headlight. Not a simple fix entirely unit had to be replaced. Genesis took care of it but we were without a vehicle for over a day and no loaner given.

Exceptional car!

After owning several German luxury brands and mostly really liking them, we decided to buy our first Genesis. We own 2 now, a GV70 and a GV80 and we love them both! We like the solid, quiet ride and how well thought out the controls are laid out around the driver and passengers. If these cars hold their resale value a bit better than some of their main competitors, it will just be a matter of a little time before they start taking big chunks of market share. Our dealer in Linden, UT is great and their service experience has been just as good or better than we had at Porsche and Mercedes. Genesis is doing a lot of things right and we think it’s the luxury brand right now that is the best value for the money.

A lot to like but quirky

Car is comfortable for both me (6 ft 3) and my wife (5 ft 0). Like the fact that, despite its size, it gets pretty good mileage on highways. Good visibility. Lots of digital amenities. With the third row seat down it has ample storage space. Yet, with the rear seat up, it can hold six adults. Like that the amenities, such as temperature control, are available in the back seat.

Better value than Mercedes

After seven E-Class vehicles and one dreadful S-Class, we wanted a vehicles unencumbered with agenda constraints. Our GV80 is just that. Far from perfect, but fast without concern for gas mileage. Extremely comfortable and reasonably priced. Biggest beef, the gas tank is too small. Annoying, but not really a reason to find something else.

Ultimate Luxury

If you want a truly luxurious and roomy SUV, buy a Genesis GV80. The gas mileage sucks but it's perfect on every other way. It's big. It's beautiful. It's packed with extras. No other SUV gets close to the Genesis.
