Beautiful SUV

The design of the car is beautiful. It has a lot of power but the downside is that driving constantly on eco mode only gets an average of 20 miles per gallon. The interior is beautiful and very well constructed.

GV80 in Texas, 2 years, 40k miles

40k miles. 2years. Still comfortable for long drives in Texas and quick trips to the store. Milage to be expected, tailwind can see +26 even 30 on the highway, headwind only 20, average is around 24 but city driving is minimal. Maintenance is at the dealer so far and I'm satisfied with their work, prefer to leave it and come back. If I wait, seems they get rushed to get it out quickly and there are water spots after the wash which are non-existent when I get it later. Only observed the AWD a couple of times on wet roads when it did its job, but I felt the traction get shifted.

2024 GV80 Satisfaction

All good except we were without our GV80 for 28 days when wiring harness was replaced. Dealer was not responsible for delay, as they were waiting for parts. However we would like Genesis to extend our lease 1 month due to the long wait.

One Day You'll Get This right!

Fist off, I've requested at least five times for you to stop using my nosinc.com email and switch to kward1122@outlook.com. Very nice car, but the wireless charger is horrible. And don't blame the phone cover, my daughter's CRV wireless charger works fine with the cover on, and her car was half the price. I just developed a coolant leak around 20,000 miles, very disappointing. Not a big fan of the auto shut-off, it's not always a smooth transition. You should offer an option to disable this feature. On the service side, I've had two software updates performed at the dealer, and both times some of my default settings changed (audio system), and my phone was no longer connected.

I kissed Range Rover (sport) good-bye, and fell in luv with my GV80

I got tired of the “attitude” and inflexibility of my 2 previous dealers / preferred brands (Range Rover; BMW) and felt they aggressively took advantage of inflation when pricing, and downplayed dealer service when discussing trade-in value, while over-emphasizing it while owned. Genesis offered me $3k more for my Sport than Range Rover did, and knocked $2k off the sticker without asking. Reliability and regular scheduled servicing has been a breeze- highly recommended!

Regret Buying Genesis

Luxury SUV’s come with a spare tire or run flat tires. Poor engineering decision. Car left me stuck on the side of the road until a rollback came and towed me to dealership. Down for a week waiting for new wheel and tire. Im afraid to take interstate trip in this vehicle.

Great car but needs some tweaks

Overall an awesome vehicle but some of the electronic elements need some tweaking. Especially the adaptive cruise, active lane keeping and collision avoidance.
