Great car, lousy dealers

This is a truly good solid car/suv. It rides better and quieter than the competition and is reliable, Except for the starter battery. The battery in this car must be inadequit for this car because it dies in less than 2 years. It causes the car to have to be towed to the dealer and then the dealer charges the battery and says that it is ok and they won't waranty a new one!! After two times I finally had the battery replaced and it is fixed for the next, maybe 2 years. The dealers are very "Low Rent" for this high end car and there arn't any nearby. Hyundi should let their dealers work on the Genesis. Great car, but not good gas mileage, about 20mpg overall.

Noisy

Rear end noise and road noise is unacceptable for a luxury SUV. For the price of this vehicle there should be no road noise....my vehicle is in the service for the second time to deal with rear end noise.

GV80

Very nice design and beautiful interior. The build quality is generally very good. However, the ride quality is not great and is very rough. A lot of noise gets transferred into the cabin. There is also a differential problem so drivetrain makes strange noises. The gas mileage is very poor. I have another similar size luxury SUV that gets significantly higher mileage with the same size engine.

Love my GV80!

My husband originally wanted the Genesis GV80 based on its great reviews, and I loved the sleek design and comfort. It was the first vehicle we test drove, and we immediately knew it was the one. After a year and a half of ownership, we still love it just as much as the day we brought it home. It’s been a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and dependability, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. This car made me a Genesis buyer for life!

Best car ever

This car has been one of the best I’ve owned. I traded in a Maserati Levante and also have a Mercedes GLE SUV - the GV80 surpasses both. It’s roomy, comfortable to drive, has great technology and it’s simply a lot of car for the money.
