Very good, but could be great

Some missing features keep this from being 5 stars. 1. No rear window wiper 2. Inadequate ventilation on driver's left side - blocked by steering wheel 3. No passenger air vents in back seat (removed between 2023 and 2024 year models). It's more than stuffy back there.

Great entry level electric vehicle. Ride is a little harsh especially over rough roads, you realize how heavy the batteries are.

really good vehicle, styling is ok

Have had this car for almost 2 years. No major problems. Did have one issue with the glass above the windshield, but that wasn't the cars fault. A rock shattered the glass below the roof, but above the windshield while on the freeway. Charging speed is good. have used for several long road trips. Home charging is very easy with installed home charger. Reliability is good. Have yet to have it breakdown. Do like there are buttons for climate and some other features as opposed to only touchscreen.

Great vehicle some silly omissions

It’s hard to beat this vehicle in terms of the overall driving experience in town or on road trips. However there are also some silly omissions given the SEL is the second highest trim. No rear AC outlets and rear window wipers are the most blatantly indefensible.

Versatile, high-tech, comfort

Overall it's been a great experience to own this car. I appreciate the spacious feeling of the interior, the lack of gearbox and transmission allows for the passenger area to feel so open and unencumbered. All the high tech features and generous display screen make everything feel clear and easy to access. The driving experience is also great and feels very customizable based on desired sportiness or economy. The only thing I wish it had was a back windshield wiper and hope that the battery range will continue to extend in future generations.

Loving my Ioniq-5

Got a great 2-year lease--not sure I'll buy out out (might be expensive), but would really hate to give it up. Hope Hyundai will negotiate buy-out price, given likely oversupply of these models coming off leases.

Well built car with excellent range.

We charge the battery form solar panels on our roof. The range is high enough that we never have to worry about it. The car is well built and quite solid feeling. It gets used more than our other 2 vehicles. It has great acceleration.

Nice with a fewshort falls

Nice car. Probably the best among EV's with fast charging and well sort out features, but the lack of rear windshield wipers and blocking windshield wash solution smell must be addressed.
