Slot Car Feel

I’m a big kid who grew up racing my slot cars for hours. When asked how feel about my Ioniq 5 experience I relate it to my childhood experience of diving into corners and effortlessly accelerating on the highway. Then I boyishly smile all the way home.

Great car for our first EV

The Ioniq 5 is our first EV and we love it. It has amazing driving characteristics, it is comfortable on long road trip and has amazing (not perfect) driver's assistance that saved us twice.

Amazing performance, and top notch power for an electric engine. Comfort and feel are top notch. A bigger bulkier version will be nice though

The best car I have ever owned

This car is a dream. It is responsive, fun to drive and comfortable. I love the way it looks--inside and out. It's sure-footed on the freeway and feels substantial but it is nimble in the city. The cargo area is ample and fits everything I need to haul. My friends and family always comment on how great the car looks and feels when they ride with me. I've even powered my house with the V2L (vehicle to load) adapter for three days when we had a power outage. I cannot be more happy with this car. It is the best car I have ever owned.

Overall great, but there are few improvement needed areas.

When I complete the charging, often the cover isn't working. In this case I just drive leaving the cover open, then it cover closes. Air-conditioning is always an issue. it is never cool enough. In it's highest level / very low temp set up, still the wind isn't cool enough.

Blown ICCU

Great car. I loved it until the ICCU failed on the freeway with my grandkids in the car. I will never buy from Hyundai again.

Ioniq 5 --- An Amazing Vehicle

This is the first vehicle (EV or not) I've had with so many thoughtful (even imaginative) features. Although Hyundai did a fine job explaining the essential features, I'm still finding new ones as I explore a bit more.
