Vehicle makes a weird noise from the front

Vehicle makes a weird noise sometimes when starting up. Like a cd is spinning in the main instrument cluster.

Good, but missing some obvious wins

Overall it’s a great vehicle and I don’t regret buying it. There are some really nice things about it and some things that are annoying come from other vehicles, but overall it’s good

Great car with some reliability issues.

The driving experience with my 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5 is the best I've ever had. The ride is smooth, responsive, and very quiet. The cabin feels spacious and comfortable, and all the controls are easily accessible. The range and charging speed are adequate for my needs. The visibility and safety features in my Limited trim make me feel confident changing lanes and parking. I like the styling and lower profile compared to my old RAV4. On the negative side, the driver monitoring system reports false attention lapses, so I cannot use highway driving assist. More seriously, the ICCU failed after just two months, and it took two months to get a replacement.

Nice ride at a great price

I was not in the market for a car, but my old car got totaled. I ended up getting a 2 year lease of the Ioniq, which was a great deal, and gives me 2 years to decide if an EV is right for me. It drive very nicely, the interior is very nice - quite large actually (rear passengers have tons of leg room). Its fun to drive!

Exceeds my EV expectations

Highlights: digital rear view mirror, heads up display, enough tactile buttons, driver’s display, apple car play, voice activated navigation, phone and watch as a key, auto lock, 360 overhead view.

Enjoyable drive, but glitchy and poor UX software.

The car drives well, although I've driven it only 186 miles and haven't used all of the cars features in a variety of driving scenarios. The car's software - including onboard software, the digital key, and the phone app - is glitchy, slow, or a poor user experience.

Feature rich fun car

I have a very long daily commute and was spending about $600 a month in gas for my truck. We had already bought a Hyundai Plug-In Hybrid Tucson for my wife months earlier and absolutely loved to. So when we saw Hyundai was having a $89 a month lease deal on the Ioniq, we jumped on it. Between the car payment, insurance and the $1.10 a day it cost me to charge, I am spending less than half the cost on gas for this. The Ioniq 5 is needless to say packed with tech and super fun to drive. Not going to lie, the instant acceleration is always fun.

Having a problem with Haptic steering warning coming on constantly. Having a serious problem with Carlsbad CA Hyundai service department. Waiting over 5 weeks still unable to get return phone calls to set apt.
