I like almost everything about my 2023 Santa Fe Hybrid. it rides reasonably well and gets good gas mileage. I feel secure knowing that it is a safe car with many safety features

my 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid Limited

Overall, very pleased with this, our second Santa Fe (first was a 2017 Sport). Reliability has been very good through the first 17,000+ miles. Overall mileage has been good, but not great (when compared with a Toyota), performance is much better than the 2017 Sport. Can't understand why Apple CarPlay is not wireless and a few other features whose operation is surprising.

I'm glad I bought a 2023 Santa FE

I made a smart move to the 2023 Santa Fe, after driving a rental. It was very impressive, loaded with features and creature comforts. One look at the design change that was coming with the 2024 motivated me to grab a '23 at the end of the model year. I have not regretted that decision.

2023 Sante Fe hybrid

After looking at other hybrids, the Sante Fe checked most of the boxes for us. I was looking for a hybrid and while other car makers offered them they were not available and a long waiting period from ordering to delivery was going to be needed. As it turned, the Sante Fe hybrid was being delivered in the next couple of days and after test driving it, I bought it immediately and have been completely satisfied with it ever since.

Design flaws

The door handle locks are a joke. There is nothing intuitive about how they work. The “lock button” is so obscure you have to hunt with your fingers to find it (you cannot see it). If you grip the door handle with your hand and touch the lock button with you thumb, the door will not lock. And to use the manual key, not even the dealership knew how to unlock the door. The picture in the manual was all but useless. Took me two days to finally figure it out. The display on the info screen (billboard) defaults to basically a blank screen when you start the engine. It should at least default to the last screen showing when the engine is turned off; in my case, the radio. Should not have to punch the “Radio” button every time you start the engine. I wish the battery was used longer at slower speeds before switching over to the engine, but I can live with that. The cup holders on the door panels aren’t of much use. All and all, I am pleased with the performance of the vehicle. I wish the steering assist would let you have more time without hands on the wheel.

This is my first Hyundai and despite my husband's initial skepticism, we both love it. There is no road noise and the amount of features included is amazing. We love that the back seats are heated.
