2023 Hyundai Santa Fe Blue, Hybrid

Vehicle has been very good overall, so the items I'm about to mention below are more annoyances than real problems. Purchased this vehicle as a replacement for my 2013 Santa Fe Limited (I miss the third row seating and the heated steering wheel most). Vehicle developed a dash rattle at a very young age (under 10K miles), which is a little annoying. The information system works well but can frequently take up to a minute or more to boot up before you can set a destination or listen to a Bluetooth connection. Hyundai should also improve its vehicle tracking system, as we moved to Ohio about five months after purchase and yet they still seem to think I'm in Florida; additionally, Hyundai corporate keeps warning me I need an oil change even though I've kept everything right on the prescribed schedule (is this the dealer simply not telling corporate that I had the vehicle serviced?). The hybrid system has been excellent, but I didn't anticipate the loss of mileage in the city when the vehicle is driven in cold conditions (fell from 37 MPG to about 28 MPG in the really cold months, but I now understand that the heating system takes a lot of energy from the electric system).

Love the SantaFe This is a great vehicle for my family and 2 Bulldogs.

I love the Safety features, I am getting 31mpg Perfect storage space and nice and quiet. Only problem is I must crack all 4 windows in summer when parked or alarm will go off.

Very happy with the quality and overall comfort

Overall our Santa Fe Hybrid has been a great vehicle. The gas mileage is good. Overall comfort has been great. It has a good mix of features for the price point of a hybrid SUV.

Good vehicle - safety features are difficult or impossible to disable

Hyundai needs to make the safety features easier to disable. The Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA) is not helpful, freezes the car when there's no risk of collision, and worst of all, you must manually disable EVERY TIME you turn on the vehicle in a menu FIVE LEVELS DOWN (!). The reverse beeping sounds like a school bus and cannot be turned off. What if you are leaving a friends house at night and don't want to disturb the neighbors? The scolding messages "GEAR IS ALREADY SELECTED" and false alarms "COLLISION WARNING" are irritating, and diminish what is otherwise an excellent vehicle. Spacious interior, decent gas mileage, good sound system, reliable performance, good handling.

Great Fuel Economy!

I've been very impressed with this vehicle. I've averaged over 34 MPG. My Santa Fe is comfortable to drive and the A/C Seats are great for the hot weather here in Las Vegas. Ths vehicle is better than I ever expected after driving Cadillac SUV's for years and getting double the fuel economy.
