So glad I got the '23 model, 2024 model is way too boxy. Anyway....thoroughly enjoying my vehicle. Very easy on the eye and running pretty smooth.

Mostly satisfied

Would change door opening. Much preferred my old Santa Fe system when you push the little spot to open door. it was much safer and faster and never failed me. With this new system I often have to dig out my remote to get in, which is very inconvenient. When it does let me in, it often takes two or three tugs on the handle to open. It also unlocks the door if I pass by to go somewhere else, when I don't want it open. I would also prefer a smaller SUV that would be a better fit for my garage.

My 2023 Santa Fe Hybrid

Like the car overall, but still have questions about the wires that Marhoffer service says were "cut" therefore not covered under warranty. There is no reasonable explanation as to who or why they would be cut. Still suspect high cycle fatigue. Wondering if others have had this problem. The other issue that irritates me is that in rain or snow all of the cameras become useless because of the rain or snow on them rendering that safety feature inoperable in conditions where they are most needed. Can't they be mounted someway to shield them? We had a 2014 Kia Sorrento that we did not have this problem with on the back up camera. If it could be done on it why not on this vehicle?

Overall this has been a good vehicle. The biggest quirk that bothers me is the hesitation as you roll to a stop, then take off. There is “always” a hesitation.

Solid dependable vehicle

The Santa Fe is a solid dependable car with a lot of great safety features. The only thing that I find annoying is the beeping when the car is put in reverse. It is unnecessarily LOUD and can not be turned down or off. I'm not driving a delivery truck. Embarass

Sante Fe Hybrid Reciew

Bought new for the hybrid feature and reviews from Consumer Reports. Vehicle drives great, despite lag when going from stop to acceleration using the EV mode to gas motor. System navigation is not reliable enough to use. Have had multiple instances where it takes me to the wrong place or doesn't know a road is closed, etc. partnership with Google Maps/Waze would be beneficial. Console took some time getting use to with all the buttons but not a problem now. Considerable lag in infotainment system upon startup. Takes almost 10 seconds from the time I push a button to its response time. That's the largest drawback currently.

Great Hybrid, Great Drive

We bought this hybrid because we drive a lot and needed something with efficient mileage. What we got was a high level of comfort, safety, and overall peace of mind. Our hyundai is a great looking vehicle, and the safety featurea alone made driving through severe rain and a snow storm last year less worrisome. The hybrid efficiency is top notch, and we do not lack from towing capacity one bit either. This car meets our needs for travel, style, and cargo while being very friendly on iur budget.
