Loss confidence...

After having to exit the freeway because the car was running very rough and would not accelerate past 40mph, I had the car towed to the dealer and with less than 5000 mi on the car ...the fuel pump was replaced. Failed hi pressure valve.

Love this car! Would make two tweaks!

I love my Santa Fe! There are 1 tweaks I would make- that aren’t deal breakers, but may have been oversights. One- the rear view mirrors do not have defrost. This gets annoying in colder weather- especially when you have already remote started your car and it’s warm for you and now you have to roll down your windows to wipe the rear view mirrors. Again not a dealbreaker, just an annoyance. The other is that the light for the mirror on the sun visor is not on the actual mirror, but a button above it you have to click. For such a luxurious interior, that feature is giving basic. Dealbreaker? No, but sometimes it’s all in the details!

Terrible climate control panel

I really like my 24 Sante Fe Hybrid - BUT - the climate control panel is AWFUL! Icons are microscopic and extremely poorly lit. There's no physical feedback when making changes and the audio feedback is basically IN-audible and also can't be turned up. The panel is 100% INVISIBLE in certain sunlight conditions and it's always covered in fingerprints. I have to carry a microfiber cloth to keep it clean. The panel is 100% unusable in cold weather if wearing gloves!! So - I had to get special gloves! Hyundai got so much right with this vehicle. Spacious and super quiet. I've averaged 42.5 mpg over the first 16000 miles. Also a great value. You've now had two model years to improve the climate control panel and have done NOTHING!

Mechanically very good ergonometrics has issues especially dashboard arrangement,display,lighting cause mishaps. Best example is seat heat on drivers side is turned on when certain devices are used,.brown lighting is almost invisible. Rear hatch door can be dented as it is nearly protected by bumper

Great mileage, 3rd row seating, excellent cargo space, stylish looks

3rd row super useful for transporting extra people, boxy shape helps with headroom and improves cargo space, mileage is excellent (especially when trying to stay in eco mode and battery powered driving), car looks great. would've loved to upgrade to the limited trim with the extra features, but the 7k increase was too much for our budget.
