Love My Santa Fe Hybrid

This is the 2nd Santa Fe I've owned. The first one was a 2007 that is still running today with over 250,000 miles on it. What I love about the new design: The shape. It's unique While it's super roomy on the inside it doesn't driver or park like a larger vehicle. Super easy to park. The 3rd row seat fits adults The screen Many high end features at an affordable price. Average 35 mpg as a Hybrid

Peppy and luxurious. Great tech - that mostly all works.

I love the exterior boxy styling. That is personal choice, but definitely stands out a bit in a crowded world of midsize SUVs. The Hybrid system is peppy - quick acceleration from a stop - and good highway merge speed. Drive is great... I do mostly city and highway driving - not much offroading. The interior is super luxurious (I have the platinum package). Lots of goodies like seat warmers, coolers, steering wheel warmers, interior night lights of any color. The physical buttons for media and A/C are great... I can't deal with 100% digital interfaces. Some of the tech is a little over the top... for example you can create individual user profiles to keep settings and phone connections secure. It sounds great - but makes for an extra step of logging in each time... and little more complicated for guests using the car (but possible). The digital key system for a phone and smart watch are super convenient - but mine keeps 'deactivating' occasionally requiring complete reset. That essentially means I MUST have a key since I can't predict when the digital key will stop working. Besides these minor tech issues - all mechanical features have worked well. No real maintenance in 1.5 years. Overall I'm super happy with my car.

Sante Fe, vehicle that hits a majority of the high notes

Santa Fe makes a SUV that might have a distinctive look but has a nice modern take. The outside has quality on the big parts and the interior is very nicely laid out. The interior design is what really stands out. There is plenty of room and storage throughout the vehicle. Third row with decent enough space for a smaller SUV. The tech included really stands outs and seems to be on par or even better than other higher model brands. It has a very nice interior. I have the hybrid version so the gas mileage is a plus, reaching around 33 - 34mpg on average.

Santa Fe calligraphy

Car is very good. Tons of features. Many well thought out additions. Some not so much, tho. Heated everything! Love the adjustments and flexibility of seating and vented seats. Loads of cargo space. Drives nicely. Stylish. So far, reliable. No need for sanitizer tray. Wireless charging is ineffective. Startup screen takes forever to get going. Leg rest seats useless for anyone over 5’2. No spare tire. Could get better gas mileage for a hybrid

Larry's 2024 sante fe

Love the car and the 40 mpg we get. We also like the low ambient sound and quality of the workmanship. Only negatives are occasional high revving of engine for the first few minutes until car warms up and the glass control panel is hard to see in bright sunlight.

Good vehicle can use some improvements

I need the two biggest areas from improvement is in functionality or features for the calligraphy and that they should be badging for the calligraphy. And the front seats get uncomfortable after two hours on the road more comfort of the seats.

Great Car!!

It handles really well and is fun to drive. I like the many different features it has. The gas mileage is about 38 to 41 mpg. There is a problem with the windshield wipers.

I really like but don’t love my Santa Fe

I’ve owned >15 cars lifetime. This is a really good, almost great car, I love the ride and features. That said I’ve never had a new car break down and leave me stranded for a month long repair before. It was fixed under warranty, but the goal is to buy a new vehicle and never deal with a broken system. Also, the tech features are nice, but not seamless and the fingerprint feature stopped working in a year of ownership.
