Absolutely love my Santa Fe besides 3 things

I absolutely love my Santa Fe hybrid except the following 3 things. 1. The rain sensing wipers are a pain. Unless they are on full blast, they are impossible to control. 2. The wipers sit below the hood. If you live in a really snowy and icy region, the wipers often won’t work when you first get in the car since the wiper well gets jammed with snow and ice. 3. And the most disappointing, the resale value is horrendous. It’s such a beautiful vehicle but you’re always upside down.

I wish I hadn't

Not good for trips over 30 min. seats feel like they are made to cause as much pain as possible.

Good for value and space

Good for value and space. not happy with safety recall related to back camera and camera stopped working after few months Hyundai dealership don't have parts and parts are back order and no ETA when they back in stock. Dear Hyundai you are playing with peoples safety.

Great vehicle but still lacking

I love my Santa Fe but some things aren’t great. I had to replace all 4 tires after 9 months. There was absolutely no warranty and the tires were crsp to begin with.

Engine issue

From september 2025 until january 2026 my car was towed to 2 separate dealerships for engine loosing power. First 3 attempts they "could not replicate the scenario". Car lost power in the middle of the highway. Going to 20 mph. The 4th time the charleston dealership found a bad fuel sensor and replaced it. Car ran ok for another 1000 miles after which engine lost power again. Car was towed a 5th time. They put 350 miles on it. Same story "cannot replicate the scenario" no work was ever done on the car. The vehicle report still showes 2 dtc s and were addressed to the dealer which said it was just a bug. Hyundai customer service did not help and told me to file with the BBB. had my car in the dealer for better part of 6 months with each visit consisting of at least 3 weeks of dealwr holding my vehicle. With minimal to no updates. I have been a hyundai customer for over 15 years and bought brand new and fully loaded vehicles and did not expect to have an issue like this. Dealer visits are a nightmare now. Even a simple oil change is 8 hour process. Only decent thing i have to say aboht the experience is that when i am in front of the customer tech they are curteous.
