Nice, but could use some improvement

We have owned a number of new Hyundai vehicles, and this has been the best so far. The Calligraphy trim is nice, and the engine and mileage are great. It's very spacious, and the third-row seating is above average. Most of my complaints are related to the electronics — they could make a big leap forward with a few simple software tweaks. Love this car!

This is my first hybrid car. I am so happy about the gas mileage. It is so quiet! I have left it running after getting out because it is so quiet. The charging pad for you phone is nice but because of the sunlight, the phone gets too hot. It is super roomy and comfortable.

Generally positive. Great fuel economy for a giant brick, Carrie’s lots of people and lots of stuff efficiently and comfortably. Interior rattles and a slipping transmission betray an otherwise solid-feeling vehicle. It is not fun to drive but it is comfortable.

Great Car

Great car to drive. Very quiet and responsive. Main control screen is a little counter-intuitive but doesn’t take long to learn . My main annoyance is the time it takes to “login”. Also lacks walk-away-lock. But does have walk-up unlock.

Poor build quality and reliability. Hyundai warranty is useless

Vehicle has poor build quality and reliability. Hyundai warranty is useless as they refuse coverage. Hybrid battery gets moisture during normal operation and will fail. Terrible manufacturing and assembly process. Will not buy Hyundai ever again.

Worth the purchase!

It started off rough with the battery lasting 3-4 days before dying. Several trips to the dealer and the patience and perseverance of amazing service staff, battery will go a full 2 weeks, no problem! The quality, features, and warranty you get for your money can’t be beat! There’s a few minuscule things I’m not crazy about (no separate accessible thermostat control for the backseats, no legroom for 3rd row, insufficient cup holders), and some time to adjust to the exterior look, I have zero buyers remorse! I would definitely buy another one.

We love our Santa Fe! This is our 5th Hyundai. There are only two issues we have and that is the front camera keeps breaking ( there for it doesn’t even work cause its always broken) and they never informed us about the paint job beings it was Matte finish and all. The upkeep is terrible for where we live. For the most part its always dirty.

I recently brought my vehicle in for service. Both recalls were handled promptly and with great care. Allysa is very knowledgeable and attentive every time she has helped me. I had another issue come up with the car and Allysa and manager Don supported me through the process. The first service team member that was originally helping me was no longer with the company. Allysa and Don picked up the ball and helped me until the service was finished to my liking. It took a little longer than I had liked but that was due to the original employee no longer working for the company.
