2025 Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy hybrid

We love our Santa Fe! This is our 5th Hyundai. There are only two issues we have and that is the front camera keeps breaking ( there for it doesn’t even work cause its always broken) and they never informed us about the paint job beings it was Matte finish and all. The upkeep is terrible for where we live. For the most part its always dirty.

Hyundai Service

I recently brought my vehicle in for service. Both recalls were handled promptly and with great care. Allysa is very knowledgeable and attentive every time she has helped me. I had another issue come up with the car and Allysa and manager Don supported me through the process. The first service team member that was originally helping me was no longer with the company. Allysa and Don picked up the ball and helped me until the service was finished to my liking. It took a little longer than I had liked but that was due to the original employee no longer working for the company.

Hybrid driving in the land of the midnight sun

I have had this car for about a year now driving in Alaska’s rugged terrain. it glides through the mountains in the snowy pass with ease. It handles the weather when it's below zero, and cools the car for the dogs at the peak of summer. No regrets getting the top trim vehicle. Definitely appreciate the 36mpg with gas being over $5 a gallon.

Calligraphy Lemon

After years of searching and saving I chose the 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe AWD hybrid calligraphy. I loved the amount of tech, interior size, and luxury. However, the Bluetooth proximity key sensor on this trim level (only) kept draining the battery and killing the system. This happened numerous times and Hyundai bought the vehicle back as a lemon.

Minor tech issues

Very quirky things happen with the technology. The rear door would not open using the fob, handle or inside driver switch. But it only happened sometimes. We discovered that it happened when I was logged in. Worked fine when my husband was logged in. We discovered that there was a rear door setting that was turned off for my setting. I assume factory setting because we never turned it off. Other similar quirks and clock does not reset with daylight saving time do sometimes we are off by an hour. My phone doesn’t always open the doors. Etc etc etc We also had numerous issues waking up to a dead battery. Serviced twice fingers crossed (they also attempted to charge us for the repair)
