Like the SUV very much.

The Santa Fe is a pleasure to drive, I still have much to learn to understand all of its systems. One problem the check engine light went on for a week then went off. The next week it went on for half a day and then went off. Has not happened this week.

Great Car With a Few Head Scratchers

The 2026 Hyundai Santa Fe is by and large a great car. It handles well, it's comfortable, it's quiet and my hybrid gets amazing gas mileage. The confusing part is that the AC membrane controls are way down at the bottom of the center console and require the driver to look down (take your eyes off the road) to adjust the fan or turn the AC or defrost on. The reason you have to look down is that it is a smooth membrane that you have to look closely at in order to adjust. Furthermore, the on/off light indicators are invisible when the sun is out.
