Live this Truck best Hyundai we ever owned

This truck exceeds expectations in every category from comfort to safety to performance to technology. The drive is incredible in the hybrid gas mileage around 40 miles to the gallon the way that I drive.

Enjoying the First Three Months of Our Santa Fe

We almost to three months of owning this vehicle after trading in our 2022 Tucson. We have been very pleased with the car and are not sorry for the change at all. I mention below that the Hyundai Infotainment system has changed in a few ways that are less desirable, but I am to understand that those changes are across the whole line.

Love it could be improved in some areas but great for what you pay for

The vehicle is one of the best I’ve ever owned and the price really isn’t bad for what you pay for. I don’t like you couldn’t combine offers that was irritating with the financing. The other issues I have is Apple car play when it switches to my husband it never allows me to join back to mine after he’s had his phone. I also wish it had the night time mirrors I paid for their calligraphy which is their top trim and I would have expected that feature along with an electric sun roof but besides those minor things I love it.

Good Vehicle with some frustrating misses

We recently bought the Santa Fe with the calligraphy trim package. The tech can be quite overwhelming, particularly coming from a 2023 Subaru CrossTrek. The vehicle is solid with a smooth ride and lots of tech bells and whistles. I particularly like the heads-up display and vibrating steering wheel if you put on your turn signal and someone is in your blind spot. The side views when turning are a solid addition. There are a few things that while not show-stoppers are very irritating. I notice that when I approach the vehicle with the key fob in my pocket the doors frequently don’t unlock automatically. Secondly, the digital shifter is tricky. The first two times I took it through an automatic car wash I almost got rear-ended. The vehicle won’t go from N to D without first stepping on the brake. I didn’t know this and kept getting a “vehicle already in gear” message when trying to exit the car wash. Lastly, and most importantly, the placement of the sensor for the adaptive cruise control seems to be located in a bad spot for winter driving. Last month we drove to Toronto and back from Michigan, in a snow storm. The front of the grill, just below the license plate area, got covered in snow and the adaptive cruise stopped working. Even when the road was clear the system didn’t re-start. Apparently you can push the cruse button for 3 seconds to turn on regular cruise but who knew? Overall, I’m happy but not thrilled with this vehicle.

There are too many alerts that come up while driving to "assist" the driver, but they are distracting.

Santa Fe learning curve

Our 2026 Santa Fe Hybrid has probably not my expectations due to the overwhelming amount of technology. While we are happy with the comfort, styling and fuel efficiency. I acknowledge being 74 years old, if I was 12+ years old, all the tech would be easily used and appreciated.

Spacious, comfortable and economic 2026 Santa Fe

We're enjoying the upgraded feel of our spacious new Santa Fe, Caligraphy version, while basking in the knowledge that we are getting 37 mpg, riding in a very quiet car and being taken care of with excellent safety features and helpful car design features.

Great car. Bad mpg.

Not getting 37 mpg. The eye safety program turns on with cruise control. This produces numerous false alarms per minute Software needs improvement Love the heads up display, and Hyundai’s speed control and lane assist features.
