Great for a long trip

Needless to say because it's a hybrid my mileage from Florida to NY and back was incredible. I found this vehicle to have amazing pick up and very comfortable for a long distance drive.

This is perfect SUV, it's a great size and gets great gas mileage!

I love this Huyndai Sante Fe HEV! It's the perfect size, with the 3rd row folding down when I need the extra room for hauling things in the back. The gas mileage is great for an all-wheel drive vehicle, and it has more bells and whistles than I ever imagined possible!

Think I got a Lemon

I was really looking forward to my new Santa Fe and for the first 90 days I was really enjoying it. Then on day 91 there was an Airbag Control Unit fault and for the past 45 days it has been in the service department with no end in sight. I have opened up a buy back case and it looks like Hyundai is going to buy the vehicle back, but I don't know for how much. This is one of my biggest concerns. My first payment to Hyundai was on June 27th and the service department has had the car since July 1st. I have now made two payments on the vehicle (June and July) and haven't used it since July started. I would love to just swap out the vehicle for another of the same type since I think this is a one off occasion but it doesn't seem to work that way. Now I may lose my 0% loan (big reason for the sell) and not have any vehicle. I really did like the car but losing that loan and not being able to get a new car without paying extra will turn me away from Hyundai. This is my third Hyundai, but may be my last if I have to put in more money to get the same car. Its too bad, I really did enjoy it.

Love it but it has few issues

I love our Santa Fe! It has had a couple defects right from the start though. Our back up camera is always blurry when it rains for the next week. Sometimes the alarm for rear occupancy goes off when it rains even though we turned off that feature. When it switches from battery to gas it can be a little jerky but other than that it is a great car!

Of my 226 Hyundai Santa Fe hybrid

Just rolled over about 3600 miles and so far I love it. There’s probably still some technical things. I don’t even know about yet but with all the features, my SEL has it has more than I’ll probably ever use.. It’s very comfortable and one on sport mode if this thing gets up and goes.. the only thing I wish that it would kick on the electric motors more often than it does but I get between 38 and 40 on average between city driving and highway highway is probably 36 to 38 and 55 and under a little bit better, possibly depending on the terrain to flatter the roads are the more of the electric motor will kick in occasionally at higher speeds . So far, I cannot find anything I dislike about this car so as of now I highly recommend anyone looking for a nice hybrid. This is it.!
