2026 Hybrid Santa Fe

This is the first Hybrid vehicle I have owned, and I greatly appreciate the performance of the entire system. Also, the interior is superbly comfortable for my needs - roomy and yet convenient. There is a lot to learn about the functions, and it did take a while to relearn the modifications for the various systems, but it is very good.

Nice vehicle

I wish the hybrid aspect of this vehicle operated more constantly than it does. More often than not it functions on gas power which reduces overall mileage. I'm not sure if it has to do with the small sized battery or what, but it is a bit disappointing.

Good

Traded a 2024 SantaFe hybrid to get all wheel drive. Driveability on the 2026 sux! Low speed hesitation is bad and dangerous when mugging or pulling out to traffic. The 2024 has the same engine a transmission setup and was seamless at low speed performance. My dealer says it’s normal???

Well Designed and Built

There is a reason that Hyundai SUVs are top rated by the leading car magazines. Our Santa Fe is well designed and well built. The tech is impressive but not intrusive. You can choose what to turn off and assisting features to keep. The hybrid powertrain is smooth and quiet. The switch between EV mode and the combustion engine is seamless. It is a great driver both around town and on long trips. Real world MPG is about 40mpg in the city and just a little less on the highway but still in the high 30s.

I love my car 99% of the time. Seats are not as comfortable as my past car so after a longer trip you feel it.

Fine

We love the car. Easy to drive. Good visibility. Excellent cameras. The only negative is our constant struggle to understand and use Carplay, which is at time maddening.
