2025 Sonata

I like the car but it seems that all of our Hyundai vehicles, and I have owned 4, make a very loud waffling noise when a back window is open, very annoying

Could have been better

Skinny hard steering wheel w/o heat. Cloth seats, not leather. Wasted panoramic sunroof. Digital dash fonts are not bold, and the speedometer is not in the center. Winshield should be Gorilla Glass. The key fob is egg-shaped, easily dropped, with a separate physical key. Too many submenus in setup, not intuitive. Transmission high gear should be overdrive! The entry could be a little taller. The horn should beep for verification with noise outside.

Back up warning

Disappointed no warning sound when backing up and close to object. I thought all new vehicles would have that safety item, especially with the trim package I purchased.

The styling is attractive. I have had continued reving of the engine. Dealer says it's driver error..... I think it's gas quality. Dislike the display.

Good car for the most part

The ride is smooth. Lots of features. My only 3 complaints us that the front is too low and easy rips off the shield under the engine, there are too many alarms going off, ie way too touchy, and there is no sunglasses holder.

Very pleased

This car has met all my expectations. I have been a Hyundai user since 1999. Up to this one, it was an Elantra. This car is described with one word: Wow! I love my car. It has everything I want and then some. Comfort, entertainment, gas mileage, technology galore, etc. It drives like a dream.

I was due about the finance cost $32,000 final costs $53,000.

Wish i kept my 2021 Elantra only had 40,000 mi., owe less than $6,000

I previously owned a Sonata that was totaled out by insurance in a rear end collision. After test driving and considering a few other vehicles I returned to the Sonata and pursued a new vehicle purchase.

Great But Just Short of Greatness

Two things keep this from being a 5-star rating. One, the lack of a heated steering wheel. The heated seats are nice, but a heated steering wheel seems like a missing piece when all other manufacturers offer both together. Two, the wheelspin and hop when accelerating off the line. This is a phenomenon associated with high-powered, FWD vehicles. But back in the late 80s/early 90s, most manufacturers were able to control this. For a 2025 FWD vehicle to not have a means of controlling this wheelspin/wheel hop off the line seems a little antiquated.

Sleek, sporty car! Very quick. Transmission can be weird though.

This has been a great car for me. I love how it drives (without steering tech assistance). It is very nimble and fun around winding roads. It was my first big girl car purchase. I will always remember this car and how fun and comforting it was to drive.
