It needs a title?

The car is great on gas because of its hybrid nature but has lots of inconvenient and irritating features. The back-up warning sound is way too loud. The hvac system does a bad job of clearing the windshield of fogging in rainy weather. The up and down temp buttons are hard to find and use without taking eyes off the road. The shift buttons are hard to identify without looking at the console-a shift lever would be an improvement. Finally, at a stop, the battery allows the car to creep forward on its own and the brake has to be applied to halt it.

Could be better

My biggest issue is how poorly the tech works in the car. Despite being a hybrid I am only getting 34 MPG, so it was not worth the extra money I paid for it. My Toyota Venza averaged 43 MPG.

My only real complaint about the vehicle is that when exiting the driver's seat, I can't lock the car by clicking the Lock button on the side of the door.

3rd Tucscon-First Hybrid

This vehicle is comfortable, easy to control, and quick. Unlike my previous gas version the Blue is much quicker off of the line and an absolute gazelle on the highways. Aside from the added power the Hybrid adds weight and a lower center of gravity. This was very helpful in bad weather. The interior of this vehicle is roomy enough for above average sized adults to be comfortable in the front or the back. The rear storage is good for every day use, but not enough for a lot of stuff. There is very little road noise in this Tucson. I added all terrain tires and that is the only thing I hear. The interior passengers do not hear the song that the Hybrid sings unless you are going slowly by a wall or inside a tunnel with the windows down. You will hear the less subtle back up chime though. I have recommended Tucson's to anyone who asks. They are a great value for the dollar and a fantastic vehicle no matter the price.

2024 Tucson Hybrid, no charge

Softer ride than our 2018 Santa Fe Sport 2T. Would have liked spare tire. Sales did not even mention. Blue link must call for road service who can patch tires. Gets about 10 mpg more than 2018 Santa Fe Sport 2 T. Turning radius not as sharp as our old Santa Fe. Don't like the push button gear selections, and how you must have foit on break and be completely stopped to shift from reverse to drive.

Nice look and ride. A few minor issues. We are pleased with our Tucson so far and, it's been fun to drive. There are a few minor issues like, so many bells and whistles that it's hard to learn where and how each works. We have finally just set the basic options and left it at that.
