Decent car for the price

While I really like my Tucson Blue hybrid, there are a few small things I’m not crazy about. It’s a comfortable car and otherwise very functional.

Mainly great but some disappointments

Overall I am very pleased with the value, quality of build, mileage and reliability. I do long drives and need a spare wheel. I am extremely disappointed that this is not available as a factory or dealer option when there is a well for it and Hyundai simply need to remove unnecessary studs to accommodate one. My aftermarket spare wheel was difficult to store safely and I will never buy another vehicle without one.

Extremely satisfied, lives up to reputation and reviews

Extremely satisfied, lives up to reputation and reviews. I was pointed towards the Tucson Hybrid from Consumer Reports and I was immediately compelled to buy it. The ride felt superior and quieter compared to the current Honda CRV. Subsequently I also bought a Mazda CX 50 hybrid for our second car and although I enjoy that very much, I do feel the Tucson overall is the better vehicle, quieter and more powerful and a bit larger. I bought the N line and it is very well equipped. I wish it had wireless Apple CarPlay, but I put an adapter in and that works very well. I have had no quality issues whatsoever at 10,000 miles. My first Hyundai after a lifetime of Japanese cars, I am impressed.

So far a positive experience.

Very quick / responsive. Tracks well on curved roads. Seems to be a more comfortable drive than 2018 Sonata that we traded in for this vehicle.

2024 Tucson Hybrid

Every time I take the Tuscon hybrid in for oil change service (twice) they "over fill" the crank case with oil. This has also happened with my 2019 Santa Fe while it was under warrantee. This has resulted in having to go back in for correction every time. I have mentioned to the Key Hyundai manager several times that the "bulk oil fill counter" should be re-calibrated, but it continues. I have since taken my Santa Fe to other service establishments with no problem of overfill noted. Other that the over fill issue, the people at service are very nice and accommodating.
