Hyundai Tucson Hybrid

I am very happy with my vehicle. I have had it for 1.5 years. I find the mileage very good. It rides comfortably. As a female not quite 5 ft tall the seat and steering wheel adjustments are my favorite options. I am able to not use a pillow and can comfortably drive the car. The option to be able to push the steering wheel in has been a game changer for me as I no longer am sitting right on top of the steering wheel which makes it safer for me to drive.

Love the mileage

The car is nice, with good mileage, however, the steering wheel is showing wear with less than 8k miles. Sad. And back up alert "beep" is so LOUD that leaving garage in early mornings it is intrusive to neighbors.

Love love love the car, but there are a few things I would change

So I LOVE this car. Love her to death. But there are a few things I would change. The advertised MPG is a joke. Never in the year and a half I've had this car have I ever averaged more than 32 MPG (as opposed to the advertised 38). I wish the headlights sat a bit higher; driving in the mountains at night can be a little tricky. I wish I was able to use wireless Apple CarPlay. The opening for the hatch is too short and so sometimes things that would otherwise fit, can't go in the back.

Issue with car is the fuel economy for on highway driving is not very good The second item is the shift point at low speeds doesn't seem appropriate to get the car into the EV mode.

Hyundai Tucson Hybrid 2023

So far so good just wish there was an oil gage on the dashboard. In order to see the oil level you have to actually pull out the oil stick. Also I wish I could see my texts on the dashboard media screen. My sister has a Buick Envision and she receives her texts and can reply to her emails hands free - think it might be thru Car Play. Other than those 2 additional functionalities - everything else is great!
