The Perfect SUV for me

After owning a 2018 Kia Sorento for 6 years, I was convinced of the reliability of the Hyundia family. After several months of research and test drives, I found the right one, a 2024 Tucson Hybrid N-Line. I love the touchpad infotainment screen integrated into the center instrument panel [ as opposed to the "laptop on the dash" look that so many other SUV's have]. Besides 24000 miles of problem-free performance, it has all the safety features from adaptive cruise control to all the safety cameras & sensors. It's well bolstered front seats make handling turns a comfortable experience, along with the quiet cabin. I considered a Lexus (having previously owned on), but decided to keep the $20K difference in my pocket.

Overall I enjoy my vehicle. Don't get the mileage I was hoping for. Not sure why when I'm driving less than 40mph, it's not always in electric mode.

New Hybrid Provides Excellent Comfort and Affordability

New vehicle provided significant upgrade to my fuel economy, reducing the amount of emissions and improving the environment. Great to drive, good for city and highway drive and large luggage capacity for travel and transporting my 2 large dogs (90+ pounds each). Took advantage of the 0% financing, overall an excellent purchase. Looking forward to my next Hyundai hybrid.

drives great but dislike the info screen

Smooth ride; tight turning; has the desired safety features. Dislike the info screen: often have to touch it several times in a row to get it to 'connect.' Not intuitive.

Love Everything…..BUT Backup Alarm

We love our Hyundai Tucson. Rides so smooth and gets great gas mileage. However, the backup alarm is ridiculously loud!! Would not have purchased if we would have realized. Also, nothing fits in the cup holders in the back seat.

Hybrid function has been working perfectly. Back seat seat belts are difficult to use with a booster/young child using seat belt. Otherwise been awesome.

Love My Tucson

Bill Detweiler Review

Overall, I am satisfied with the vehicle. Two issues have popped since I leased the vehicle in May of 2023. The first issue I had a flat tire that I discovered leaving work one evening. Much to my dismay there was not a spare tire. If I have been told by the salesman, it would not have been a surprise. The second issue was a defective shock absorber by the right rear tire. It two weeks for a replacement and that one was defective too. The replacement for that one did work. The service department at the dealership has been excellent.

2024 Hyundai Tuscon Hybrid Review

The hybrid is a very nice mid-size SUV with the best features. It's comfortable and rides well, but for the highest end package we did expect more. Simple upsets like Android Auto/Apple Carplay which don't function unless plugged in with the hybrid but work with Bluetooth on other versions of the same and earlier years. We like the memory driver seat, but wish the electrically operated mirrors had memory as well. The auto-open trunk is convenient but too sensitive and otherwise too slow to be useful to someone carrying a heavy item they want to put in the back. The rear cup holders are smaller than the center console ones and can't hold the typical bottles we use. The auto-start 10-minute limit is fine and efficient, but after opening and closing almost any door other than the driver's the vehicle shuts off shortly after..so after securing a car seat in the back and walking to the driver's seat the car is normally off by then even if it's within the 10-minute limit. For the auto-start, once a door has been opened (assuming passengers are boarding) it would be ideal for the vehicle (heat/music) to stay turned on for comfort and convenience even extending the 10-minute further.
