Cool, but not that cool

I'm super mad about the mpg. Online is listed at 37 mpg.Limited Hybrid: 37 City / 36 Highway / 37 Combined MPG On the highway when the speed limit is 70, when it's cooler out you get about 24mpg. At best 28 If i go to work, speed limit is 55, don't go much past 65, I can maybe get 35ish... varies a lot, to the point where I just can't get a pattern to at least know what's better. If I do a shorter drive around town, it varies from 17 to 50ish, but again, no pattern. This is what annoys me the most, as you just can't get the promised mpg. Which is why I bought a hybrid. With my past 2 tucson cars, the mpg was great. Also, as soon as you go over 70mph, or makes so much noise, that was not a problem before either. It sounds like you're in a wind tunnel, dealership said it's normal. We need to travel on a hwy that's 70mph for a couple hours on a regular basis, so that was the reason to get a hybrid because of the mpg promise So the very poor mpg kinda ruins the other cool features

Only 2 complaints. The beeping when in reverse is annoying. Adaptive cruise control is also annoying and can't be disabled. Everything else is good.

Excellent Safe and Comfortable

Love all the safety and new technology. Car is very comfortable to drive, and the adaptive cruise control and lane monitoring makes long drives much easier.

A great car

This was the 2nd Hyundai Tucson hybrid I have leased. I loved the panoramic sunroof and leather seats. It was a very comfortable ride as well, and it looked sharp. I would have liked better mileage-it was about 38 in summer, but ranged between 25-30 in winter.

Check engine light on

Everything with the car is fine except the check engine light is constantly on. I have dropped it off at the Hyundai dealer and they cannot figure it out. They claim it’s potentially the gas cap. I want it fixed but nobody seems To understand

Good but not great

Hybrid mpg has not lived up to rating particularly on interstate driving. No spare tire is a concern. Car handles well but slight noise at 55 mph but the kind you know wouldn’t be easily found
