tech distracting, turn signal camera worthless can't see SW in way

Wish this came with a hitch. The camera on the steering wheel sucks because when I am driving long distances, my steering has to be modified so as to keep the machine from reprimanding me about having my hands on the wheel and it blocks my eyes so I get another reprimand to keep my eyes on the road. Too much big brother in the cockpit if you know what I mean and it causes distractions rather than helping.

Hybrid doesn't seem ready for prime time

I originally bought a Tuscon hybrid in September 2025, I had it 3 days before it popped up with a hybrid drive error and refused to go into gear. It was towed to the dealership where they held it for 2 weeks before telling us to come pick out a new vehicle and they'd swap it out. So, we took the new vehicle and drove it until mid January, about 7,500 miles, before the same error occurred and had to be towed to the dealership. We are awaiting information on the problem and repair time.

My Annual Review of my Tucson Hybrid

It has been very good except for the frightening brake failure experience it reported when I started the car when it was not even a few thousand miles old. But they fixed it correctly and I have no issues. The Hyundai app and the vehicle report different miles for the servicing and it has been impossible to get that fixed and it annoyingly send wrong service setup requests and also shows up on the vehicle gauges. I could not get it fixed since they kept sending me across different Hyundai divisions and nobody cared to help fix it seriously. It does has poor mileage for a hybrid vehicle.

5-Star rating other than MPG

Almost everything is what I had hoped it would be, this vehicle meets or exceeds all of my expectations, EXCEPT for the fuel efficiency! After 3600 miles the vehicle computer says I'm getting 29 MPG (which it has been steady at since about 1000 miles), though when I calculate it each time after filling the tank I know I'm getting about 2 MPG worse than what the vehicle computer states. So that comes out to 27 MPG. This is a far cry from the claimed 35 city and highway. Basically, I'm getting the mileage that a non-hybrid would get. I live in a cold climate so perhaps the vehicle's fuel efficiency suffers that much, but I have my doubts. If I'm getting 35 or close to it once the weather gets warmer then I won't be as unhappy. Otherwise, it's a fantastic car which deserves 5 stars.

A great vehicle with a finishing flaw

I love most everything about this SUV. The tech is great, all the creature comforts are great. It drives nice. The one thing I am stuck on are the robotic suction cup marks all over the interior glass. A $40,000 plus vehicle and you send it out to be sold with these annoying marks all over the glass. Tucson SEL Convenience Hybrid 2025

I have only ~ 800 miles so far. The first impression is very positive. I love the digital dashboard and infotainment screens. I like the acceleration, interior design, and how quiet it is. What I would improve is the outside visibility (needs bigger windows), the car manual, and the door opening angle. I would also push the B-pillars at least one inch back.
