No what I expected

Took a step down from a Santa Fe as I do not like the body style of the same Santa Fa's. Not liking the quality of the Tuscons.

DRL blinds other driver in the daytime and safety hazard

The DRL are a absolute problem in the daytime. They reflect off cars up to 4 cars in front of me and blind drivers and reflect off the drivers side mirror blinding me too. Because there is no way to turn them off, dim them or any other setting that doesn’t blind drivers the day, bring unwanted negativity to my vehicle which I can’t control, I have no other chose but to trade my vehicle in. I wish I knew there was no way to turn off DRL lights and that they reflect in the sun before buying.

Car looks good but has big technical problems.

Car has a few major problems. 1) when car stops and then starts again, car gives a huge kick almost all the time as if another car from back hit my car from behind very hard which additionally gives a huge jerk to all in car along the waistline very badly. It has been happening since I bought the car. But Hyundai never fixed the problem even after repeated request to dealer and corporate office. 2) Side mirror sensor (for car on blind spot) works most of the time but not all the time. 3) Emergency brake starts alarming all of sudden for no reason. I am very disappointed because of the problems of a brand-new car which nobody fixes so far. Even dealers mentioned verbally that this problem is very rare. I hope this review will reach out to you and you will help and fix the car and help the customer. I am thinking to go to an attorney to fight legally and spread my experience otherwise as much as possible.

good vehicle, hate the doors

Overall, it's a nice new vehicle with features that I probably don't know most of. The doors PISS ME OFF beyond belief daily. They don't stay open and constantly slam back on me or slam shut with my hands full, etc, DAILY. It feels like it's hard to see what's around me, so thankful for sensors, that don't work 100% of the time.

Happy Driver

Love this vehicle, but my only complaint is the cabin noise on the highway. That road noise can make it hard to hear when I am on a call. Sometimes you don't want people to know you are driving.

Not like it used to be

I gave my ten year old Tucson to my son and purchased a 2024. There are so many distracting bells and whistles....things meant to help people who cannot drive....that it is difficult to drive. No pickup....front end not as tight as older vehicle. Too much money is spent on my dashboard telling me to "Keep my hands on the steering wheel". Guess what....MY HANDS ARE ON THE STEERING WHEEL and I have now taken my eyes OFF the road again because my dashboard is annoying me. Sorry guys....but the 2024 is a dud. I'm already looking to sell.

Brake rotors are terrible, lane-maintaining system is dangerous.

Cons: (1) Braking system, particularly the substandard rotors which the local dealer knows about but Big Hyundai won't stand behind. (2) Cruise control downshifts at the slightest hint of an incline. (3) The lane-maintaining system will try to rip the steering wheel out of your hands. Not sure if the yellow and white road lines confuse it or if there's some other problem with the system. But stay alert that it doesn't try to turn you into a ditch.

Great Car

So far, I haven’t had any issues with my car, and I really like how roomy it is, especially in the back. A friend tried to talk me out of getting a Hyundai, but I’m glad I went for it because I’ve been happy with it so far. Hyundai, you should keep doing these reviews every couple of years. If I were buying another car, seeing a review from someone who’s had theirs for four years would really help me determine if I should buy it or not.

Problems from the start

This was one of the first Tucsons that had a windshield leak leading to a recall. Spent Its first 4 months in the shop with a flooded rear floor. Later had flimsy trim that peeled away.

Love our Tucson. Drives great, good ride. Looks pretty cool too.

Hopefully this Hyundai gets more than 100k on it. Our last Hyundai needed and engine at 99k. Was done under recall, but really? Then the trani went. I did buy our new Tucson because I couldn't get a trade in for it anywhere else.
