So far not bad.

Had to replace touch screen. Glad it was covered by 60k warranty. The rear windshield wiper is ineffective. Bad design. But overall so far it's reliable, it gets on average about 30 mpg, it's roomy, has good power, and reasonably comfortable. Its pretty easy for.me to crawl under and do the oil change. All the oil and air filters can be purchased at Walmart and the HTRAC is wonderful in the snow. Happy with it.

Bumps & Bruises

Overall this car is amazing. The one I have has some of the best and nicest features. However, if you hit a pebble, you’re going to feel it so hard in the vehicle. Any tiny bump and the car jerks so hard that you think you’re going to lose control. And if you hit a bump, you’re going to feel like you just hit the biggest pothole of your life, every.single.time. I don’t know if the shocks are low grade or something, but being banged up over a speed bump or small dip in the interstate is crazy!

Terrible blind spot when merging into traffic despite blind spot warning indicators. Back up camera allows you to get too close to objects behind vehicle.

Basic features lacking, connectivity issues

For some reason, you are not able to order the presets on your radio in the 2024 Hyundai Tucson SEL. All FM stations go first, in numerical order, All AM stations next, in numerical order, followed by Sirius XM radio, in numerical order. Wireless connectivity with Apple CarPlay will randomly go out. Within 2 week of purchase a piece of the windshield/body connector randomly fell off.

Some things missing

Missing basic options for the price. No heated side mirrors. No rear washer. Auto shutoff and restart is annoying and not safe when trying to take off from a stop. Also puts too much wear on starter. High beams not bright enough.

Minor improvements required to give 5 stars!

My one criticism of my 2024 Tucson is its stiff ride for a vehicle of this size and cost! Why does it not ride more like your premium Genesis badged vehicle. But for this I very much like this SUV. My son and his wife liked ours so much he has since purchased a '23 and '25. Their only criticism is the stiffness. So please soften the suspension and make this SUV the best on the market!
