Red Tuscan

I don't like that when I unlock my door all four doors unlock, my old Ford Escape had a feature where if I clicked the button once just the driver's door would open and if I clicked the button twice all four doors would open. Plus, when I get out of the car, I have to close the door then click the lock button, once again with my other car I would open my door push the lock button on my fob and put my keys in my handbag then finish getting out of my car and close the door which automatically locked.

Our Fifth Hyundai and No Problems with any of Them

As the title says, this Tucson is our 5th Hyundai and we've never had any problems with any of them. Put nearly 200,000 miles on an Elantra and the only time it was in for service was for a new radiator at 130,000. Probably put a total of a half million miles on all of them! In my mind, it doesn't get much better than that.

As usual, Hyundai is a great value

This is my third Hyundai in a row after my Veloster and Kona were involved in accidents that rendered them totaled by insurance. I always give Hyundai the first shot and liked the Tucson on my first drive but I was bound and determined to try and find another make/model this time just for the experience. The thing is, as good as Honda, Toyota and Nissan are they just couldn't convince me that it was worth paying the premium for those brands when I've had nothing but exemplary performance by my Hyundai's going back to 2011. That goes for initial purchase price to ongoing cost of ownership. My only misgivings are the lack of a true spare tire and that the safety features are a little draconian.

My 2024 Tucson

I have owned other Tucsons and Santa Fes. I have been very satisfied with their design, performance and reliability. On the current (2024) version I have one annoying complaint. In order to use Android Auto, you must have a wired connection. My previous Tucson connected wirelessly. I don't understand why they've taken this step backward. I was told upon purchase that this was a feature that was being worked on but have since been told (by Hyundai) not to expect a wireless solution.

Good car with problems that the dealership doesn't seem to care about.

Runs smoothly for the most part. Gets excellent gas milage. Only drawbacks are the back gate doesn't always latch with auto close and the transmission slips when you let the engine turn off at a stoplight.
