Loving my ‘24 Tucson!

I have had ZERO problems with my Tucson in the year and a half + that I’ve had it. I absolutely love the size and options of my vehicle. I never thought I would own anything other than a Toyota but my parents (Sante Fe) and I are thrilled with our Hyundai vehicles. I got the Tucson because I drove their Sante Fe a lot and loved it.

Drives and rides well.

In general I am happy with my Tucson. I do not like the fact that the luggage rack whisles so loud that the radio has to drown the sound out.

My Tucson

So far, we are happy with the overall performance. Many of the electronic features are confusing to use with poor user interface and/or explanations. It seems very clumsy to be forced to search for answers in the user manual. One thing that we are not happy with is the poor AC performance. It takes a very long time to reach the set temp and does not seem to be very efficient.

I would give this five stars except for the brakes.

I like the car, especially the safety features. HOWEVER, the brakes, whenever we back up, squeal terribly. This is terrible advertising for Hyundai as it is so noisy people always look at it and I can see them checking out the make. I have had it in twice and my dealer says there is nothing they c an do about it. There are alot of midsize SUVs and I would not buy another Tuscan because of this. It is also very sluggish

Not dependable

I really wanted to like my Hyundai. It is a pretty comfortable ride. It is not dependable. I have had it in the garage 4 times for the same issue. Each time I was without my vehicle for a week or more. It only has 8000 miles.
