Love it!

When searching for a new vehicle, I test drive several and Hyundai was the last one. I hadn’t expected all the features offered which was a lot more than the few items I was looking for in a new car.

Hyundai Tuscon Review

I like the special assist features like lane and backup. It's comfortable to drive. I wish it were a bit higher for getting in and out without bumping my head. I often put my bike in the back. The wheel structures in back make it a bit harder to maneuver around. I like the looks of it both inside and out though.

2024 Hyundai Tucson Experience

Overall I have been happy with the Tucson. But I do have a problem with a window rolldown feature that allows one to use the key fob to roll down the front windows and unlock the vehicle by holding the key fob unlock button for more than 3 seconds. This is a feature that I consider a security issue since it cannot be disabled and it can be accidently triggered in a person's pocket. I have read complaints on the internet where people have had this happen at their workplace on a rainy day and their interior was soaked with rain water. I opened a problem (Hyundai Consumer Affairs Case#: 24008774) but they just referred it to my dealer and the dealer says they can do nothing to change it. It seems like a simple software fix to add that change feature to the setup menu, which is apparently available on some models.

No Hassles. Free Service! Fantastic experience so far.

Got pretty much everything I was looking for in the base trim except for some automatic climate control and heated seat and steering (Something needed for New England weather. But manageable without). Safety package was more essential for me and I got everything I was looking for. Great value for money!

Good so far. Disappointed with the engine though. Needs more power and pick up. Rear hatch is quirky. Works on occasion but more often is confused. Cruise control could be easier to use.

Wonderful Service Center

I brought my car in for both a vinegar smell coming from the air conditioner and “rumbling” sound from the rear of the car. Andrew was so accommodating and professional. He reached out to others to resolve the issue and the car is smelling and riding perfectly.

Interior

The car creaks on the inside, since the moment I got it. I know is due to the plastic material is made from on the interior. It also takes long to accelerate, there’s some sort of delay.
