My wife loves her Tucson. So far reliable without many flaws.

We have approximately 42000 miles on this Tucson. Has been quite reliable and drives well. Throttle response defaults to a very slow response. Must be reset every 5000 miles or every oil change. Cruise control will sometimes allow the car to apply the brakes without input. Flawed (AEB). Otherwise the car to this point is quite nice. We live in the mountains (Southern Appalachia), and it climbs hills well as transmission shifts smoothly.

It’s okay.

Paint is weak. Metal is thin-easily dented. Very slow. Horn requires replacement every 6 months. Coolant disappears with no apparent cause or fix.

Strong contender

Vehicle only used for extended trips so has low milage. On trips milage is excellent reaching 35 or greater. Safety features have saved me twice. Tested five other vehicles before purchasing. Would have bought the smaller Kona had it been available. Tested better vehicles but all required premium gas.
